Missing source for the painting in the photograph Ytoyoda (talk) 14:06, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Wmpearl: The license of the photograph isn't in question, so you're fine on that front. However, since the photograph essentially recreates the oil painting, the copyright owner of the painting can assert their rights to the photograph as well, so we need to know who created the painting and who owns the rights to it. The only thing I know is that it was unveiled in 2017 when the library opened. If it was created for the library, then it's recent enough to be under copyright. But if the painting was created during Abigail Campbell's lifetime, then it's old enough to be in public domain. Do you have additional information about the painting?
